The exhibition was a great success and it gave us an opportunity to showcase the diverse and comprehensive capabilities of the Wireless Telecom Group product portfolio in an innovative in-booth demonstration.

This demonstration highlights the capabilities of the Boonton RTP 5000 series of USB real-time RF/microwave power sensors.

Demonstrate capabilities of the Boonton USB 55000 Sensor “Memory Buffer” powered by Real Time Power Processing. Mbuff can be used in various stages of product development. It can determine product performance from engineering, conducted regulatory compliance, and production testing. It decreases test time dramatically by capturing varying pulse trains of radar signals such as IFF or complex OFDM modulated WLAN communication signals.

Limiters are used to protect sensitive components such as LNAs and radar receivers.  This demonstration shows the effect that limiters have on the crest factor of your signal as its level is increased. The pulse generator has an internal noise source which is used to simulate a WLAN or LTE signal. The UFX7000 is used to simulate an LNA, and shows how crest factor is affected as signal and noise levels are varied.

Demonstrate capabilities of broadband additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) using the UFX7000A series and using the USB 55006 Power Sensor to measure: Average and Peak power (Crest Factor)to see how much noise and interference your system can handle?
